Why waste your time working on on making a dirt bike pipe into a jet ski pipe? If I had the time/money/welding skillz..... I would turn a stock 650 Kawie pipe in a pry pipe! All that needs done is to weld the two chambers together, coat the outside of them with soem kind of corrosion...

Use Permatex RTV Clear Silacone. It has always worked the best for me. But.... I use gasoline to remove it when need be... I still used it on my gas filler with no problems. On a side note, I used some cheap silacone from ACE Hardware once on my 650 pump shoe. Well it didn't hold up...

Have any of you rebuit a bendix? I did a few and they can be pretty tricky. The one I had to do because it was all gunked up and not operating properly. Some people told me not to do it but I was cautioud and took my time. That bendix still works to this day. DBR

I am going to buy two dirt bike pipes and make a set of duals for my X2........ Anyone have the link to the 750 pipe he sold? He sold a 650 X2 hull for like $255 and an SX hull for $102! I would love ot get 100 bucks for my spare 650 SX hull that is just sittign outside...

Looks good! I am debating on trying to glass in a 750 pump for my X2 this winter. Pete, There are some slight differences in the 650 - 750 pumps. That TBM should bolt in but it may not fit right right behind the impeller, the pumps are different diameters there. DAVE

I have never ridden a 701 SJ but everyone keeps telling my they have killer low end. I did ride a dry piper 750 SXi Pro once and it had killer mid range. I want to put one of those engine/pipe combinations in my X2 but the dry piope won't fit without major hull mods. DBR

I have an X2 drive shaft and a 650 SX drive shaft in my possesion. Those eBay pics of them are pretty much it. I can't comment on the 750 SX lengths. I did see a TS drive shaft on eBay and it was a lot shorter than the X2 one I have. I am glad you brought up this question though...

Yeah they are $125 new. I see them go for $100-135 all the time on eBay. If you don't have your heart set on one of those, try an Ocean Pro skegged plate. They won't slide out like the stock one will. A Jet Sports plate is a direct copy of the OP plate if you can find one of those. DBR

Have you ever noticed those little holes inside the engine compartment where it looks as if the steering and trim cables mount? I took a dremel to my older X2 and removed some of the foam inside of those holes about 1/4" deep. I did the same down under the foot wells inside of the engine...
