I bought a plastic welder once and used it to repair a few plastic things. If it is only a pin hole, I might try to just use a sodering iron to melt the hole closed. Then again if you are going to removethe tank to do the repair, you might as well just put a new tank in. DAVE

I found a nice Craftsman 10 mm open/box end wrench in my old X2 when I tore the engine out for a rebuild. I guess the previous owner had lost it in there. It barely had any rust on it. DBR

trio I have a 650 SX drive shaft and I can't for the life of me find a cheap X2 shaft. All the ones on Fee Bay get run up. I am not goin to pay more than 30 bucks shipped for a stinkin drive shaft! Hell Pete gets whole X2's just givrn to him! lol

Same thing happened to me when I used cheap silacone. But if you use Permatex RTV silacone, it won't come free. The downside is when you need to remove the pump, it cam be a pain to do so. I just keep cutting wit ha razor knoife and apply a little pressure. Be careful removing a 650...
