That sucks!
Anyone ever split the two halves open on an X2? I saw an SJ on "the other forum" where they split open ahull to put scuppers, dual cooling lines, and a trim cable housing through it.
I removed my hood liner and it definetly was a destructive process. I wouldn't want to do...
I want to put a rear/side exhaust combo on my X2 with a "T" side exhaust fitting I was talking about. I have some CAD drawings somewhere, I will have to dig them up and post a pic of it.
On the rear, I wanted to put on a Blowsion or TBM rear axhaust outlet for an 800 SXR.

I have/had a 1991 650 SX which had rear exhaust. I couldn't do a tail stand at all on it because of the rear exhaust. Well I was going to put a side/dual exhaust kit on it. Problem was, I didn't like any of teh aftermarket kits out there.
So I was in the process of having a mchine shop...
Damn Straight! We probably could revive any and all lost 650 SX and X2s out there... lol
Sounds good I will get a hold of you. Just let me know when you are free. I have been clearing out a lot of parts I have. I ended up getting that X2 I emailed you about. It is in good shape but I...
I always either use old gas to start fires, clean parts, weedeaters, or just dump it into my grandpa's old beater of a truck. I used to put it in our lawnboy but for some reason Maxima or Klotz just doesn't smell right running it in your lawn mower. It almost made me sick!
Dave, what are...
Damn Dave where do you come up with this ********? You are way worse than me now! I did go buy that X2 though. To me it was worth it for the FPP, Skat Prop, and the PJS Scoop Grate. I still have the Kehin c42 but I am debating on selling it. I always wanted one wth the accelerator pump. I...
What about a HydroSpace or Octane.....
Couldn't resist.
I own an X2 and absolutely love it! I can't wait to get an 800 SXR powerplant into it.
Still though if I am going to go buy myself a new ski.... it will be a roundy.
Ever since i bought my first YZ 250 MXer, I started...
I had a Jet Sports prop once that only had 650 stamped on the side of it. It was stainless steel but it was a dull grey color like a stock 750 ski.
Sounds like you need to pull it and thn put it in one of there:

to know the...
Cool,
Crab you still looking for a FPP head pipe? Some guy told me he has a full 650FPP but I am awaiting pics. I want the chamber if it is different from the chamber I have.
DAVE
Yeah the older Skat Magnums were just modified OEM pumps. They would bore out the liner and stator sections leaving a hollow tube. Then they pressed/welded in their stator/hub. I called them once and they said they didn't really want to fool with a 650 because they didn't have the tooling to...
I had 4's on mine, seeemed good. Some people like 4's some like 0's. It is all personal prefermace. Just make sure you get the "extra wide" bars!!! UMI calls them the "freestyle" bars.
DBR
Yeah if he has the stock bars..... they really suck!
I think that a quick turn will really help him out as well as wider straight or 4 degree bars.
On my X2 when I removed my quick turn I almost couldn't ride at all compared as to when I had it!
It makes balancing a lot easier like he...
Ok I know exactly what you guys mean. It is where the hub of the prop goes over the hub of the impeller.
I just want to make a 750 pump work so I can eventually get a Skat Magnum.. :):)
yeah I wish I had about a -4" pole!
Well I am a little confused about a wedge. I only rode flat water aka the river, so I put my wedge in my 650 SX to point the nozzle down.
However on my X2, I always run the trim in the up position. If I put it in down1 or down2, it makes the nose want...
Crab, I do not think it will fit :( I recently just bought a prop off of a guy on PWCToday.com to put back into this X2 I recently bought.
(I am keeping the aftermarket parts I want and sellign the others)
He sent me a 750 prop and not a 650 one :( Not worth sending it back for 30 bucks...
