I did the washer trick and it made my ski handel like crap!
But then again I had the ride plate jacked down so far anything would handel like crap. :(
I don't recommend going more than three washers on the rear. After so many it will cause irregular handeling.
My ski would tuen ok then...
I never have but I will say that you do need the "TS" style manifold. My 93 X2, 95 X2, and 91 650 SX all had them. My friend's 88 650 SX didn't. There was no exhaust diverter period in there. Of course the stock TS style doesn't really have that steep of a diverter either. My Coffman...

Yeah those braces are sweet!
I want that whole hull they sell.
You get the hull, hood, brace like Fletch's, steering system, and the steering cover for 7k. But then you have to have it shipped over here and then the customs fees.
So really isn't worth it!
sorry man I have never ridden an SJ Roundy or surf :(
But still the JD stuff and shorter pole will help a bunch. or just a lot ride more, you will adjust.
Just what they said man... lol
I will get you thouse pics soon. Sorry I have been out of town on manufacturing plant tours/job interviews.
PS, How do you guys feel about the Kehin 42 vs, the 44 SBN?
Also on an X2 you need a throttle wheel and the cable bracket,. Makes life a lot...
D_Slicker,
I remember reading up on West Coast's old site about the relocation bracket. You might want ot get ahold of them, they may still have some. I got a grate from them for like 10 bucks once!
Pete,
you are saying that you just use the opposite side support on the other side...
Do exactly as SEALION said!
I did the same Kerker tail cone and restricter mod to my old stock X2 and it ran just as good, I mean better than my friend's 650 SX with a West Coast pipe.
Also ditch the 28 mm carb and go for the 38 mm or better yet a Kehin 42 or a Mikuni SBN 44 mm carb. I...
For starters, get a Jet Dynamics ride place and deep intake grate. The JD plate actually made a noticable difference on my friends 650 SX! All other ride plates I ever used didn't really do all that much. The JD grate will keep the ski hooked up and not slipping when you are bashing through...
Yeah you want straps! Get some Dakine Pro Forms.
You need to ride around some first to get the best place to put them.
I put mine too far foward and now I need to make some new mounts to scoop them back.
I haven't gone that big on my X2 with mine yet to give a propper analysis on...
Straps are the way to go. Pretty simple to install and you can just stand on them when you are not using them. The only bad thing about mine is that I put them too far foward. I need to epoxy in two new inserts farter back. I just never got around to doing it.
So how hard was it to get the 75o pipe to fit? I am wanting to do a 750 engine swap into my X2 and was wanting to use a 750 Mod pipe as you did or a dry chamber SXi Prop pipe.
DBR
Check These out I did to mine: I completed them but never uploaded teh pics.
Also,.... WAB,.... what kind of pipe is that in your photos? Is that a FPP Dry Chamber SXi Pro pipe? If so, what kind of tank is that? I want to do an 800 engine and Dry Pipe!!!!
Yeah they axed the Flatland BMX a few years back in the X-Games. I used to ride BMX and never once did I ever drop in on a vert ramp! It is scary as hell sitting on the top of one of those! I mean it is only ten feet tall but you know if you clip your sprocket or rear tire, it is all over for...
Yeah they have that "Scratch and Dent" store. They usually have a lot of sweet stuff in it! Also they have their overstock/returns store. I got a new PJS 650 crankshaft once from them off of ebay. I guess some other guy had bugged them to put a "buy it now" on it and then I came along and...
Try www.pacificjetsports.com aka Gordy. He used to sell those PJS ones all the time. I don't know if the 440 or 550 are the same but it is worth a try.
