    Superjet Mid-Shaft

The water test is how I always check. I had one that was so bad there was no bearing to speak of so it never got hot. It was also perfectly aligned so there was no noise. If you grease them and and it comes shooting out or doesn't feel like there is any resistance, that is another sign they are bad.

    Superjet Mid-Shaft

Also when the ski is sitting in the water you can stick your hand under the carrier and feel water coming in. I've got a brand new WSM carrier for 701 superjets that I ordered by mistake for a 650 if you need one.

    back flip potential

I had to pack out my 24-7 universals on the top with underpadding to get them tight. You can't just turf them and get a good lock.

    back flip potential

We were making setup wakes with my XL800 like you would on a standup and it's silly how big they get with the trim up and someone on the back. If we get them right they actually break like a wave. It is crazy how much height we were getting. The first one I hit I ghost rode my ski because I...

Completely flat trailer - Yay or Nay?

I had a trailer with a flat deck. I laid plywood down and put 2x4's on top for bucks then carpeted over the whole thing. It was a great setup.

If you come out of the footholds the nose of the ski is gonna come at your face/head scary fast.

    sub on an x2

Sealing off the hood completely and putting an intake behind the seat helps. They do like to take on water.

08 Superjet Handpole and steering ??

If you center it you ratios will be off slightly and it will bind. You want to put it inline with the factory mount & the nozzle pivot. It's been like that for a year with no probs.

2008 + SJ's... What angle do you run your turn nozzle at?

2008 + SJ's... What angle do you run your turn nozzle at?

I have an extended plate on mine and the nose digs in some but the handling is even better. The new hull takes a different approach to hitting setup wakes but you can get around way quicker with much more control than sliding. I ran the nozzle flat for a bit and hated it.

My wammer plate delaminated but not like that. That was after the visual layer had worn though the chines and it had taken a few boulders on the chin.

    Superjet Bog

Did you check the internal filter yet? If it's filled with crap clean it out & clean your fuel tank out. Run it then check it again If there is more junk in there I would replace the fuel lines. Also make sure you replace your Needle & Seat when you rebuild the carb.

this is how we roll, lol

I used tow with & overload my 97' civic hatch all the time. The input shaft bearing sounded like a blender when you let the clutch out in neutral. That could also be because of J turns, launching at the redline in second, downshifting & over reving the motor, not using the clutch, side stepping...
