    impeller a tad tight (video)

Try running a hone through it. That one doesn't look that bad. I've fixed worse with a hone. If you know some one with a mill you can have them bore it just to take the high spots down and it will work just fine. Kawis suck because you can't buy a plastic wear ring for them or just replace the...

    superjet 701 motor advise please......HELP.. =(

I would check the bore and pistons against a service manual before boring it. Also check the crank too but a rebuild from sbt is like $200 & it is already apart. Bad cranks destroy entire motors when they let go.

Lets see some different camera mount setups, Helmet or hull.

I have one of these. It's right between the go pro and the Oregon Scientific. http://www.epicstealthcam.com/ They sell for $100 at Costco. I strapped it to my handpole just to try it out and the footage was too tight and a little shacked because of just being strapped down. I need to pick up...

    Graphic Removal...

Eraser wheel hands down they cost about $14 from an autobody store and work 1000 times better than any solvent, goop or scraper. It works just like a pencil eraser so you get shards everywhere but it's worth it. I was amazed at how well it worked the first time I used one. Don't even waste your...

    sn with rn pole

The conversion is well worth it IMO just don't use a RN bracket. Do the washer thing or get the conversion bracket. With a RN bracket you have to relocate the hood hooks. Also with a stock RN bracket the pole won't go all the way up. SN poles are so freaking ugly, heavy, and long. It completely...

Removing Kawi Flywheel while crank is out

I've band clamped a pipe to one of the 'crows toes' to hold the puller rather than the flywheel since I don't have an impact wrench. Usually I can get them without putting anything in the cylinders. I just grab the coupler or bolts in the flywheel when I pull the bolt or turn the puller. One...

    Best Overall Prop

I had one of these in my old boat that was tuned & cut back by impros. It worked great with & without a wet wolf cone. I ran it on a few different engine & nozzle combinations and it always performed well. Try to get something thats cut back if you can. Also SBT does an awesome job of...

    home made footholds

a few layers of 8 oz all over then a few layers of biax in the bottom should do the trick. It takes a long time to get a good shape. Between all the shaping, extra sanding, glassing, and huge mess that it makes it's worth it just to buy footholds. It's safe to say this way easily adds 6 hours to...

    home made footholds

US composites has every thing you need. Basically all you need is epoxy resin & cloth. You cut out a rough shape with a dremel then sand the shape of the footholds into the foam then cover with glass.

    blowsion flame arrestors falling apart?

I have yet to see an after market flame arrestor that doesn't disintegrate or have the top fall off. Proks are the best I have seen but they still let that cone loose and plug the intake. Stock with 2 of the three screens removed is the way to go.

Anyone know where to get B7HS solids?

I have never had luck with the screw caps either. I wonder what they would go for from yamaha? Rivas site says a 10 pack is $3.61 but I'm sure thats for 1 plug. Knowing them they won't be the solid tops any way and shipping is always at least $8. I don't mind paying an extra $2 per plug so I...

what job should i go for?

Pictures like these make me wish I didn't know how to do office work. These pics are from Malibu. A crew at a place I used to work at was in VA beach for 2 weeks surveying convenience stores. I guess that makes up for all the times they get sent to bombed out buildings in the ghetto or have to...

    SJ hull crack

it just means you paint some epoxy on the hull so you don't get any dry spots where the cloth contacts the hull. You probably won't have to do this as you will probably be spreading the filler on the bottom. Just so long as there is uncured epoxy on the surface your putting the cloth on.

    SJ hull crack

That patch won't make a noticeable difference. Filling it with just filler won't really do anything. The v or 'W' doesn't have to be deep at all. Make sure you sand the snot out of the area your putting the patch on. Put the glass right on top of the filler without letting it set or sanding it...

what job should i go for?

Aren't you like 16? Buy a truck start your own little business doing anything. A few friends of mine did this and they were setup by the time they were like 19 or have sold it and moved on. It is so much easier to do when you are young and have no bills. There are tons of things you can do with...

what job should i go for?

Amen. Stay away from land development. Your basically a permiteer. You'll be chained to a desk or cad station. It's degrading to go through school and be doing simple elementary BS. Surveying is another one that can be good so long as your not doing title surveys or work for a land development...
