Anyone know where to get B7HS solids?

I have a hookup on BR8ES Solids, the part number is BR8ES-3961, However I can’t find any B7HS in solid. Any one know the part number?

I am a new NGK Distributor so I did some checking and 0. is right I can't get B7HS plugs in Solid Terminal... There is only one stock # for B7HS unlike BR8ES which has 2 stock #'s...

I can't stand the NGK's with the aluminium top. I had to order some BR9ES solid tops from eBay since I can't find any locally. When I received my 2008 from Yamaha it came with two sets of solid tops, I don't remember the heat range but they must have been B7HS... right?

So the B7HS is not available in solid but I can get a BR8HS in solid (Thanks Tom). whats the difference between the two? If I understand correctly R means its a resistor plug (Not needed in a SJ but won't hurt ) and 8 is just a cooler range plug. Am I correct? These plugs (BR8HS) should be fine in my SJ with a stock motor and a b-pipe?

I don't think running "R" type plugs with the stock SJ ignition will hurt. It seems like I remember reading that going up to the cooler range plug (BR8HS) is actually not a bad idea. I am not sure if I read that but is seems like I have heard that before.

I have never had luck with the screw caps either. I wonder what they would go for from yamaha? Rivas site says a 10 pack is $3.61 but I'm sure thats for 1 plug. Knowing them they won't be the solid tops any way and shipping is always at least $8. I don't mind paying an extra $2 per plug so I don't have to check them all the time. Oh and I tried those E3 plugs. What a joke. It would misfire and bog down low. When I pulled them they had bluing and looked like they had some mild detonation on them. The electrode looks like it's ready to fall off too.

Club Plug is where I get my plugs also. Since I'm ordering them I buy them in bulk, usually 20 at a time so shipping doesn't offset the savings. Club Plug does have the BR8HS solids (part# BR8HS-6715) for $2.00 ea.

depends on what you are running!
I run 8s in my SN 650, pipe, 175 psi
and my piped 750sx! :beerchug:

Yeah it does, I'll run a set of b8HS's first before I go and buy 20 though. BTW we missed you this morning. The surf was pretty bad, about as bad as O'side gets but we still had a good time. I thought you were back?

I was back, for a day lol. Few days after I went, had to get my appendix removed (almost ruptured, thanks God it didnt). Both my doctors said can't lift more then 10 lbs for 4 weeks, and I can't go in the ocean for 6. I guess my internal stitches are at risk of getting hernias from the weight and infection from the water. Awesome...

is your tuning correct?

the only time i change plugs is after i ingest enough water to sink/shut off motor or after i fog it out. maybe twice mid season for the hell of it.

i usually ride 2-3 days per week 2-3 hours per ride.

i do agree though... solid tops are way better than the screw off type.

Hey MM No I'm not changing plugs that often, I just prefer the solid tops. I ride a lot too, about the same as you 2-3 times a week and my skis are always frankenstiened together to have one running at all times so Yes my tuning is propblaby a little off.
