    adet16v

He's got TON's of clean 650/701/760 OEM parts and some after market stuff. I don't know why he never lists any of it.

    devastating results with bondo resin?

You need to add foam but very little.

    devastating results with bondo resin?

Those mods take a TON of time when compared to footholds.

    devastating results with bondo resin?

It will stick but not well. I would use 3m 5200 before polyester resin. Us Composites sells epoxy fairly cheap and in small batches.

    Powder coating

Get it anodized if you can. Powder coating is over rated IMO

    FPP pipe bracket.............. wtf?

It uses a lord mount to hold it on. I know the yamahas had a simple plate that bolts to the flywheel. I ended up just using some steel wire to hold mine on because the lord mount bracket had such poor alignment. There may also be one that goes to the head too I'm not sure. Check out their...

Stength of US compsites Epoxy & 5.7 oz

One of the coolest things about the stuff is being able orient the strands in the direction of your load to get maximum reinforcement. We used just the tow to reinforce most of what we did. It ended up looking kind of like one of the composite air cylinders.

Stength of US compsites Epoxy & 5.7 oz

I basically took strips and folded them back & forth on them selves which came out to about 4 -5 layers. The weave was all over the place & so was the thickness, plus the resin wasn't fully cured. With a controlled layup 60,000 psi shouldn't be a problem. Most of the better looking pieces were...

Stength of US compsites Epoxy & 5.7 oz

For one of my classes we had to build part of a go-kart frame. The material we chose was carbon fiber. So I went ahead & ordered some 5.7 oz plain weave carbon from us composites & used some left over resin from one of my builds to lay it up. When we were done I had some left over so I made some...

Use 2-stroke oil without TC-W3 cert.?

It was much more pronounced using a non tcw3 oil. Black sludge would shoot out the rear exhaust.

Use 2-stroke oil without TC-W3 cert.?

I used to run amsoil interceptor in my squarenose with a brand new engine in it. When I tore the motor down there was zero hard carbon but mass abouts of thick sludge in the pipe & waterbox after less than a season. My experience is non tcw3 oils is they don't like wet exhaust.

The dangers of river riding! ouch

Rivers can be brutal, just last week my buddy and I both busted rideplades. One of the worst parts is that it changes so much parts that used to be deep can become islands after a good rainfall. The one spot I ride 90% of the fishing boats are aluminum skiffs with jet drives, there a couple...

need some expert help ski wont start after running

Run it on the hose & see if you can duplicate it. I's easy to find a leaky gasket when it's on the hose.

need some expert help ski wont start after running

Take out your One way valve & give it a try. The water box can heat up the gas tank & make a bad needle & seat worse by building up excessive pressure from heat especially with winter gas. You'll notice this when you open your gas cap and it pops off or hisses. Another possibility is a bad...

    Kayac'ers....ooopps!

I've never had a problem with kayakers. The thing I don't get about fishermen is that they will bitch about you making noise and chasing the fish away. Then they leave Budweiser bottles, empty skoal tins, and just general trash EVERYWHERE. Me and a buddy had a slalom water ski course setup. As...

    Turning/Carving

It really either takes power or fineness. Pulling out of the turn you either add more throttle and some opposite steering. Or pull your weight back centered on the ski. If you lay the ski all the way over you will be out of throttle. The 550sx I'm riding in this pic only has a rideplate.

    Trinity Composites Matrix Pro Hull

Just curious.. What are some of the improvements over the 08+ sj's shape? Is the pump set back like the 08+'s?

Cook the water out of the foam?

Well you would be fixing the leaks while pulling a vacuum on the in the hull. I'm sure you could get a pretty air tight hull using a stethoscope & some 3m 5200. Hahah you could take the magnetron out of a microwave and aim it at the hull to heat up the water. Sound Safe?
