The couplers aren't melting with the restrictor.now the couplers are fine but I have a :-):-):-):-)ty hole shot it seems like and their is to much wateer going through exhaust

well first it was melting exhaust couplers.so I put a restricter in it to see if that would help.but now I don't have a whole lot of throttle response or hole shot anymore?

Ok the deal is I got a 550 with dual cooling.I don't think I'm getting enough water in my exhaust .I've been looking at flow controls like jet works and blowsion but I can't justifi paying 100 for 2.so are their any other options on the cost effective side that works as a flow control?

the best thing to do is just delete all that :-):-):-):-) and run a direct line from the tank to the carb with a filter then a return to the fuel tank

For a 300 the easiest motor to swap would be the 440.It will bolt up pretty easy in the 300.550 swap would be a little bit harder.

The best way to tune is to get a couple of ur buddies put on on each side .point the nose towards the dock at the lake start it and tune that way.they will always run different on land and in water
