Im about to paint mine. I stripped off all the paint(took forever).Im going with a couple coats of U-Pol high #5 primer. After that probably going to use PJ1 epoxy paint and clear. Every 1 seems to like this PJ1 stuff for fiberglass.
Actually I looked at mine I put the .2 lt of oil in it. Just don't over fill it or it will :-):-):-):-) out of the exhaust. My bad on the previous post.
I run the 300 still and it had oil in it when I got it out of this barn. I started it and oil started :-):-):-):-)ing out of the exhaust. I drained it all and now it runs great.
Don't put any oil in that thing you pointed at. I got my 300 sitting and the previous owner put oil in it. I think thats why he gave up on the project cause he thought it was blown up cause oil was coming out of the exhaust.
I was thinking of using a filler primer just to make sure it didn't have any scratches. Is this a good route to go. I cleaned it off after sanding with 120 it didn't look like their where many scratches on their. I stripped all the paint off Im going black so I don't want anything to show. Does...
I was going to do a quick rattle can job on my JS440. I got it all prepped and stuff. Im using the PJ1 fast black epoxy paint, and the pj1 epoxy clear. My main question is what kind of rattle can primer would be the best on the top and bottom? Do I need a sealer?
Sup I was messing with my gas hoses and they are old and broke. Is there a problem with putting to regular black fuel hoses in its place.
This is what broke.
I was wondering if the PJ1 series epoxy paints would be a good choice for painting the whole ski. I was wanting to use the primer, paint, and clear from PJ1. Not sure if it should be used on plastic. Any help would be awesome.
