300/440/550 Ski Hull Swap??

Does anyone know if you can put a 88 js550 in a 82 js550 hull? The 82 hull i found is in such better condition.

Yes you can put an 88 engine in an 82 hull.

you'll have to move the throttle cable too cuz the 82 had a 38mm carb.

also i'd leave the rev limiter behind. just disconnect it from the ebox and carb. then cap the carb nipple or use it for a primer and put a .32 welding tip in the fuel return line for a restrictor.
