Even though we all want a deal, we should all purchase one new superjet or SXR to keep stand up alive. I'm guilty as everyone else, I always look for a good used deal, but maybe once in my life. Hell I bought a brand new SXR in 03, so I have contributed a little.

Contact your city/county recycling center. In my city there is only one day a month you can dispose of bad gas, and it is a mobile unit that stops in like 6 different spots on that one day a month.

I don't know why it wouldn't fit unless the stator viens are a little different shape than a 750/800 pump, but I could be wrong.

So here's my progress so far on my holds. Just got done a little earlier. Just got done stickin them in there. Planning on glassing tommorrow. I cut a litttle high so some of the rivets are pretty close to the edge. This is my first time working with expoxy resin.

Cleaned the inside of the hull. Pulled the race weights out of the bottom of the engine compartment. Next I started pulling off the mats to install the foot holds.

So this thread has been idle for a while, but I'm back to fill 'er up. Got rid of the 98 hull and picked up a 97 when I was at Pismo. Been pretty busy. Here are some pics after I picked it up.

No you just go down to the bottom, no need to wrap them. I personally wouldn't put turf on my front bumper or side rails. It just always rips off. Atleast thats my experience. My buddy has turf on his side rails and any time he losses his boat in the surf and it rolls in the sand the turf on...
