I have an Ocean Pro pump reduction nozzle that will fit a 440/300 pump, I know that doesn't help much, but maybe you have a 440/300 pump lying around you can slap this nozzle on. 440/300 pumps are suppose to be better than 550 pumps.

You make your own templete, but its not really needed. Just start with a small hole where the toe area of the footwell is going to be placed and make the hole larger to make the foothold fit flush.

I thought the hull, atleast the bottom deck, was painted. Sure doesn't look gel coated to me. But what do I know about paint? Jack shat is what I know.

Did you paint only the primered areas or did you paint the whole bottom of the ski? And I assume you used paint, not gelcoat?
