Hijack! I'll likely be relocating to Merritt Island/Cocoa Beach towards the end of next year. I know it's got great riding north and south but what about right there at Port Canaveral?
Not really. I thought I had a lot of water lines but yours is ridiculous with the water injection and all . But I took it out today for a few and it ran great so the water lines are good. Thanks for the help though. Anyone else got input/details on this pipe? I'd love to know what...
So who all gets to hit the boat wakes? :sneaky: I have bought my sj in Sept I have seriously hit the flats four times - once for break-in, twice for tuning. Not really sure if I'm ready to be depended upon for entertainment!
Well maybe it's a wetpipe :dunno:. Either way I think I got it plumbed up right but does anyone have instructions for this R&D pipe? I'd like two know what each fitting does and how the restrictors work in the two fittings on the chamber. I called R&D and the guy said he'd look around and fax...
In Va Beach we're supposed to be 100' or 50yds or something offshore, away from objects, away from surfers, and away from each other :bs2: . So yes, jumping waves is illegal here fwiw.
I used to swear by the Protec Ace Spade. Cheap, light, and "sufficient" full face protection. Turns out the face piece is very flexible with the right amount of impact :banghead: . Now I have a Bell Bellistic. I got the wally world Bell for my wife but the face piece doesn't stick out far...
I did em with one person - definitely take the above advice. And I was on a tight schedule and unexpectedly way too low on resin so I used 5200. Don't do this if you want a seamless install w/o a lot of work. :banghead:
This is a great thread, btw. Awesome tips.
Yeah if I'm reading his email correctly, matty suggested I tee off each main line to each of those fittings. He's also speaking from experience with water injection, which I don't have. I assume if I do that I'll need to block off one of the three feeds off the head. He'll be sending me...
This one's for an R&D drypipe. It's got three outlets coming out of the head and dual cooling coming in off the pump. Any ideas or a link to R&D's website? This is the only pic I have to show me what it originally looked like.
High res...
 Nice! I've been waiting for this thread... I love the hull work. :Banane01: Don't take this the wrong way but I do NOT envy the time you had to spend at the shop on this one!
I don't hear too many props for Chuck at CG Racing. I've dealt with him a good deal in the past month or two and he seems to be one of the best kept secrets in the powersports community. He's been eager to come through when others could not or would not. I really can't say enough about his...
With less than 12 hours notice, this dude had some footholds shipped out in time for the weekend. He also called me from the store w/a tracking number. Thanks!
I can't get the pics to come up. But I didn't get my new chinpad in as expected last week so I modified an old stocker to fit an xmw pole. Only I didn't make a mold and just left it all plastic plus some aluminum backing to get me through the weekend. Short weekend. Word to the wise - cover...
