St Augustine freeride july 29th 30th VID is UP

This poop's better than cable. Fwiw, it appears to be .avi. The video codec is Moonlight-Elecard MPEG2 Video Decoder and audio is Moonlight Odio Dekoda. These Florida boys rock but you may want to wait if you pay for bandwidth or risk execution at work for clogging the pipes...

St Augustine freeride july 29th 30th VID is UP

I just started watching it. Renamed to .wmv but it says incorrect format. Works fine on my secondary monitor. But the background noise wasn't editted out so you hear the occasional bang against the mic or maybe a problem with the transitions? :banghead: Good job though (I don't know about...

Filling the bondline: foam or epoxy?

And foam all the way up level with the handlepole mount base? I know I usually get a good amount of resin buildup there. Age old question: 2lb, 3lb, 4lb, canned, or does it really matter? You just want something to build up a base, correct?

Filling the bondline: foam or epoxy?

I've been using epoxy w/silica filler. I'd think that'd be a little stronger than foam and only add a pound maybe. But maybe foam is easier or faster to sand smooth? Who's using what?

    Reinforcing with carbon

I'm sure the difference is minimal. I think I only added 18lbs on the last one I weighed and I used a LOT of glass. meatball, that sounds like plenty. If you'll have the footwell areas open, reinforcing from the inside will look and help better than a biax deflector on the outside...

    Reinforcing with carbon

Using glass on a surf boat, I'd use two layers of 17oz biax mat/cloth on sides/lip, one optional layer of mat to grind back down smooth, three-four layers biax under pole mount, one layer on bottom, two in the rear 18" (behind footwells), one in the tray, and an optional amount through the rest...
