    Who's this??

As far as I can tell this special going on with our local newspaper is all about local photography. But who is doing the no-hander at the 23 sec mark of L. Todd Spencer's blurb?? http://www.hamptonroads.com/pilotonline/special/water.html - Spencer is the third from right at the bottom.

    Another cooling line thread

bump. I have an 82mm in the first restrictor and a 125 at the stinger. Aside from the rest of the motor, might changing these up a little help move my snap from the mid to the low end?

    full face helment

Walmart does have Bell helmets but the ones I've seen leave my big ars nose hanging out the middle. I had a protec ace spade until I learned about it's flex properties :banghead:. I have a Bell Bellistic now and love it. I also have a sixsixone cf on order. CG Racing can hook you up with a...

Definitely nice attempts if not completions! Pete, thanks for chiming in with some advice. If I ever get the opportunity...

    Too much vibration?

First of all, I never ran this ski before I put my rookie hands into the engine compartment so I don't know how smooth it ran before but it currently vibrates like Rosie O'Donnell's ...anyways... How much is too much vibration and could this be a sign of an unbalanced motor or shaft? It's a...

    D Cut Plate?

I just recently cut the d with a 3in radius. One of the best cheap mods I've done thus far. The improvement in handling was a night and day difference. If I get a season out of it before it cracks I'll get another one and do it again.

    Infamous sj crack

I'm sure it's been there for awhile but that ski is finally getting inverted for the first time in its life. Thanks saki!

    Infamous sj crack

I'm sure a lot of you have seen this before. If you can't tell in the pics, it does go up under the rail. What's the best permanent fix and what's the best temporary fix? I was thinking laying some 4oz mat with thickened resin, lay a deflector, and rivet it to the hull. Or do you think it...

    footholds

Or cut up a high density kickboard for lifter wedges. I'd use contact cement before screws. Don't trust the adhesive on the ht wedges.

Is there hope for a holeshot?

Okay it is 83-84 ID - my bad. And 90mm OD. Isn't that the same stock? If that is the case, I don't really see the point in this aftermarket nozzle unless the 96's originally had a plastic nozzle :dunno:. It doesn't seem to be extended either. And I'll add "doublecheck timing" to my todo...

Is there hope for a holeshot?

Wow thanks for the fast responses! Okay now just another question or five  Milling the head is not an option if it leads to downtime. If I were to mill an old 64u stocker I assume I'd have to get it done to match the 84.5 bore? It's a 61x on there now with three water fittings...

Is there hope for a holeshot?

Okay I got a very good deal on this former "race" ski and just got it running better than "good enough" for my lucky wife's first sj and decent enough to be a backup for me :sneaky:. Is there hope for turning this into more of a holeshot/freestyle ski with a little tuning - read low-budget? I...

    homstead fl

Great. That answers that question! I guess there's always the Daytona and Sebastian areas less than an hour away. In the meantime I hear there are great gator and manatee rampts in the Floridian flats :cool2:
