Another cooling line thread

This one's for an R&D drypipe. It's got three outlets coming out of the head and dual cooling coming in off the pump. Any ideas or a link to R&D's website? This is the only pic I have to show me what it originally looked like.

Yeah I know how to run the lines. I run this pipe on my ski. There should be no T on that bottom water line that goes from the exhaust manifold to the head. You should have each main cooling line going into the exhaust mainifold. And each one should have a 3/8 by 3/8 by 1/4 Tee in it for the water injection.Which requires dual cooling. Then I run two lines off the head directly into side pissers and then a tee in the line on the pipe itself. I uploades some pics of my ski so you can see. It doesnt show everthing but let me know if you are still confused. I can't get the pictures uploaded. If you want hit me up with your email.

ive never seen lines tee'd together between the manifold and head before. seems it would cause the water to stagnate around the cylinders and overheat.

Yeah if I'm reading his email correctly, matty suggested I tee off each main line to each of those fittings. He's also speaking from experience with water injection, which I don't have. I assume if I do that I'll need to block off one of the three feeds off the head. He'll be sending me better pics and/or the R&D instructions in the next couple days :Banane01: But I'm open to sooner suggestions if anyone has them. Hopefully I'll be dropping this motor in tomorrow but still need to make a hood liner that'll accomodate this pipe .:headache:

Well maybe it's a wetpipe :dunno:. Either way I think I got it plumbed up right but does anyone have instructions for this R&D pipe? I'd like two know what each fitting does and how the restrictors work in the two fittings on the chamber. I called R&D and the guy said he'd look around and fax some if he could find em.

And scratch that about modding the hood liner. I'm not sure why the hood that came with this ski was modified but my old stocker seems to fit fine :cool2:

For the record, is this a wet or dry pipe?

I think that it is a wet pipe. I have the direction for the dry pipe, but they don't tell you what each fitting does. Did those pics help out?

Not really. I thought I had a lot of water lines but yours is ridiculous with the water injection and all . But I took it out today for a few and it ran great so the water lines are good. Thanks for the help though. Anyone else got input/details on this pipe? I'd love to know what the restrictors do and what the fittings are called and do so I can not sound like a moron when I talk about it.

bump. I have an 82mm in the first restrictor and a 125 at the stinger. Aside from the rest of the motor, might changing these up a little help move my snap from the mid to the low end?
