    carb identification help

Set the pop off around 20-25 psi. It's a small motor. Needs bigger jets to suck the fuel out since the diameter is bigger=less velocity. Youre the same air/water temps, same elevation as us here.

    midshaft play

After I rebuilt 3 of mine they spun like a fresh bearing should. Before I rebuilt them they had a lot of play in all directions. I'm about to take it back off after riding on it a few hours. Wonder how it's going to feel myself. Driveline should be lined up correctly. An improperly lined up...

Other How do you insure your AM hull build

Doesn't sound like insurance will cover a loss due to sinking while riding. You would ultimately have to lie about what you are doing with the Jetski for it to fall under their rules of coverage. Paying 300 a year for nothing

    scratch prevention

It would take a lot of work to get it to contour correctly in one piece stretching heating or whatever they do to apply the material. I wanted to get a hood of mine wrapped by a professional but gave up the idea seeing how I ride my ski way too much for it to last. Even if you do get it on...

If the edge seam gets water under it the whole wrap will rip off from water pressure/friction while riding. Maybe if it was wrapped up the nose above the bond line all the way to the back?

    Custom/Hybrid backie chan dash

Technically you shouldn't need a primer if your ski is jetted/tuned correctly. I use a small button one under the hood just to flood it out after washing/flushing or when I totally sink my ski and and have to get it going on the beach. It should start up hot or cold no problem without a primer...

Surfriding What straps are you guys running??

Get some dakine x lace straps like tom is running and be done with it... Don't over think it there aren't many options. The x lace are very adjustable and you just have to glass in stainless inserts like the one I was making when you were at his shop that day.

    Wetsuit or no wetsuit?

Any bonehead claiming they ride 40 degree water in boards shorts is full of sh it. When you go out for a few hours at a time there is no messing around with cold water. Even on the beach when you're dripping and there is wind you don't warm up unless air is above 60+. You get disconnected from...

    TURF AND TANK

DAP or the wellwood? They work. I use a heat gun to make the applied glue warmer, Be careful not to blow yourself up if there is/was gas in the tank.
