Make sure you have the correct length bolts. The factory 61x manifold is thicker that the wetjet. If you re-use the same bolts you will crack your case driving them in too far
I just put a stubby cone on my solas 144. Using a brand new 10/16 and a pro-tec raider nozzle at whatever stock bore they use. I think the stubby cone didnt help and I'm gonna put that stock solas one back in there. The prop is not hooking up like I want it to. Its spaced as close as I can get...
I swapped the fluid out with 10-40 oil when I changed my prop and short nose cone the other day. I did change the oil a few times throughout last season.
Both mag pumps I purchased have not had a problem with them.. yet. lol
I just did and i don't expect it to last forever. Ive seen stainless bolts get worn from the spring rubbing too. Spend a bunch of time heating and bending so the spring fits nicely, or have someone make a thin sleeve that fits over the pole bolt and between the spring.
Number 1 thing I dislike about my Rickter is their sliding bedplate system. It causes problems 2,3 & 4 lol....Too bad they don't use tapped bed plates similar to Krash. I wish i could get blank bedplates from RRP.
nice looking boat you got there @whitca
You can't deny the rad dudes design is bullet proof. Trex deck and a full welded rack is where it's at. Wood rack won't last like steel. Even carpeted you'll have to maintain/replace. They have the most copied design out because it's simple and it works.
Edit: The receiver pin hole is 5/8...
