    Help!

It sounds to me like a fuel problem. Check the fuel and pulse lines. Failing that, try gravity feeding the fuel for kicks and grins. Oh wait, did you say that it'll die even with you keep priming it? Then electrical is my next guess. Try hooking up one of those devices that tells you when...

    Would you make the trade?

Seadoo XP for a Kawasaki 650sx? I have before me the opportunity to trade my 1992 XP for a 1990 650sx. Please keep in mind that couches here are worth much more then they are on the coast cuz EVERYONE is bloody lazy. The XP has westcoast exhaust, ride plate, and intake grate. The 650 looks...

    550 backflip capable.....

I bet a 550 with a 750 mod could do a backflip. Keep in mind that what he's saying is a he said she said. He was told that it could do a backflip, so he just regurgitated. I got my ski up to somewhere between 90 and 95 mph BTW. Then I had to slow down because of the state trooper.

    550 backflip capable.....

I lost my fire extinguisher cap once while riding. Man what a difference it made. All of a sudden the ski started jumping 3 feet out of the water without a wake. What size engine ya'll think is in it?

SX/SXi/SXi Pro help finding extended ride plate to stop porpusing

 Ride it for a year before upgrading any parts, IMO. Then you'll have a good feel of your ski and know how best to improve it.

    cavitation vs. porpusing

Aren't you the one in the other thread about a longer ride plate, or am I confusing you with someone else who has the EXACT same problem? Anyways, his conclusion was that sponsons are the way to go to reduce porpoising without adversely effecting speed too much. The intake grate alone can...

    cavitation vs. porpusing

Probably a bad hull design. You can probably band-aid it with sponsons.

    cavitation vs. porpusing

It can't really be more obvious. Is your ski's nose bobbing up and down at speed and you don't want it to, you got porpoising.

U ain't gonna get ANYWHERE until you pull the head. Look at the cylinders and hopefully the case. If that doesn't tell you what's wrong, split the case. I bet the ski ate something and now the engine is an anchor. Pull the head. It's easy. Let me know if you need the torque pattern/specs.

    Bilge Install Question???

FYI: The bilge line is routed in such a way that back-filling is impossible unless the water is pumped through the line. If the required placement of the bracket worries you, why use the bracket at all? Haven't people installed bilge pumps without using that bracket. As to the original...
