So, I've always wondered....the oem bilge goes up to a block at the top of the engine compartment, before going down to the actual pickup. Why is that? Why wouldn't the hose just go strait to the pickup from the pump?
Aviation won't change whats not broken for one simple reason: cost. The cost to re-certify things for FAA compliance is absurdly high, and you have to do that every time you change anything at all.
Oem vehicle manufacturers have been using coated pistons for a while now. Aftermarket for far...
Options:
A- tear apart and replace broken things
B- buy different engine and put it in there
C- JB weld it and see if it last another 1/2 day before you realize A+B are the only real options
Well now I really want to try a cutback 13/16 lol
The big hub skat I'm currently running does not impress me. It doesn't feel any different then the old solas original line prop I had in there before.
I doubt it will make much of a difference on a prop that is already known for excellent hookup and bottem end power....
A 701 superjet with a hooker 9/15 is not lacking response power wise. You need to time the throttle better, and get a pipe if you want more power.
Its interesting you say that, because I've been running modded stock heads forever, and everyone constantly tells me the squish is bad and the ADA head is SUCH a better design.
Also to add, if I can afford a $50 set of sparkplugs, I'm probably not running a 701/760 motor. So the big motor guys who spends thousands will probably be all for it because they will pay for power, everyone else probably won't.
I was recently diaging a problem with a ski and my buddy pointed out the rubber gasket in the pump area was wrong [#5 on the chart]. I had used the large hole gasket instead of the small hole which is used on 44's. I had never know about the differences, so I pulled apart the set of 38's on my...
Well known issue elsewhere as well. For years dunlop made excellent race slicks for bikes. Problem was, the UK made ones performed better then the US made ones. Supposed to be the same tire though.
-First up is a set of oem SBN 44's from a 760. They are setup on a protec intake manifold and are jetted for a 701 w/b pipe in a superjet. $250 shipped in the lower 48.
-Second is a set of ADA 33cc domes for 81mm bore [701's]. Would prefer to trade them for high comp 760 domes, will sell for...
Yeah, I have no idea why thats so captivating but I couldn't stop.
As for being boring, I don't have smog to deal with. Fires don't come into town so don't care, Water shortages are for people who drink water, which I don't lol. As for hurricanes, we'd be so lucky to get that kind of rain...
I grew up in upstate NY before I knew about jetskis and motorcycles. Did the whole cut a hole in ice and jump in to swim crap. Now I live in AZ and want nothing to do with cold besides vacations and day trips up north to go skiing.
