also,your piston speed goes up in a stroker so timing needs to advance to make up for less combustion time. most strokers do run better with more advance.

they work well depending on your combo.tried one on a ported 701 with b-pipe and could tell a difference.much smoother power and pulled higher.

chances are you won't hear detonation.water jacket and hood make it almost impossible. egt would tell you however.

the module pulls timing out progressively as the rpm climbs.you'll still get your bottom end advance but it will prevent detonation at upper mid and high rpm. the advance will be more than 2 deg on the low end but it will be right near that at the higher end.
