usually not as the seal fits into the groove in the case with some amount of crush..with some luck,a real good degreasing and some hylomar you can get the seal to stay in there if pushed in but i wouldn't recommend it.

they usually seal well enough but the bearing bores might not align perfectly

good luck finding a girdle kit for the greater head.if memory serves me right,blowsion,riva and some others had the same head so you could try them. this design also allows removal without compromising the base gasket.

the id on the new wdk pipe is 3 1/8in and the od is 3 1/4.

instead of waiting on wdk pipe,would this one fit the new wdk billet manifold with a 3.250 dia coupler?
