get a shorter steer plate from tbm or blowsion. but even with short plate the bars still stick out a little. or get a wamilton's pole pad.they are adjustable depending on steer system

just touch up with thickened epoxy and smooth it after.you can color the epoxy for a no show repair. if the crack you're referring to is at 4pm of pic then no worries.just a bond line of pump shoe .

i've used stuff that was going on 15years with no ill affect. some silicones will not solidify if too old but never had that issues with kawi,yami or 3bond. if it flows,it goes.
