steering and chin pad questions

Hi, i purchased a used 08+ superjet with rrp pole, umi steering system, blowsion handlebars and blowsion carbon chin pad. The system performs flawlessly so Im very happy with the setup. The only issue I have is the way the handle bars and UMI steering plate sticks out from under carbon chin pad. The chin pad doesnt cover most of the steering plate. Is there a way to correct this without changing the setup? Is there another, longer chin pad that can cover the whole steering plate?

I attached a pic of my steering system below. I take a better picture from another angle tomorrow to show how much the UMI plate sticks out.

Thank you

get a shorter steer plate from tbm or blowsion.
but even with short plate the bars still stick out a little.
or get a wamilton's pole pad.they are adjustable depending on steer system

The bars with the adapter plate are supposed to be mounted on top of the turnplate.

Replace with RRP fat bar system.

Hi tomski, the upside down handle bar was installed like that by the previous owner and it was akward to ride with. Ill definitly look into getting a fat bar system.

Thank you for the responses everyone

With that steering plate and your riser bars straight back the steering must be sooo slow.
I plan on installing a blowsion turnplate and having the bars readjusted to the right position. TBH I didnt know that the risers bars are supposed to be installed like bike handles until a few days ago :D
This is my first stand up so I am curious to see how this changes affect the steering speed.
