    crank bearings

OK, I spent $200 on my Pro-X pistons which included all gaskets and bearings for topend job, except the head gasket which I spent $50 on oem. $40 on OEM crank seals. I spent another $150 to have the holes bored to match the pistons. Thats already close to $450 I have into this motor rebuild...

    crank bearings

I'm rebuilding the motor on my FX-1. Pulled the crank to replace the seals. I brought my crank to a trusted mechanic friend and was told that both the front and rear bearings should be replaced because they're making noise. So I go online to check the prices, and so far I'm blown away by the...

FX-1 I just can't get in to it..!

^^^Not is. My FX-1 has always been bone dry inside, I don't think I've ever used my bilge pump and had water come out. From speaking with others, theirs are always dry too.

    FX-1 FX-1 Pipe

I was actually refering to the risk someone might take like the guy who bought that motor off of you. Maybe the sizzler pipe was on that motor and it has fix-a-flat in the manifold. Just callin it like I see it bro.

    prop trouble

Honestly, I think Impros chart recomendations are outdated. I went off their recomendations from the chart and everyone I talk to say I over pitched. The best thing to do is call Dave at Impros and tell him what you have for mods and he can suggest a prop. Right now the hooker props are all...

    Nose foam?

Blasters are nose heavy already. I would keep it unless you're doing something custom that required the space in the nose.

    94 Blaster running poorly

FX-1 Might be able to pick up another fx1 hull

There was a hull sitting back there for years and somebody started to do a 144 conversion on it. I asked lots of times if I could get it, but someone owned it they kept telling me. I thought it got trashed when they moved but I wasn't sure. Sounds like a good project though.

    Thermal switch

Yea I got a riva head on my blaster also and there's a spot to mount it which is about 1/8" deep. I don't know what they were thinking. I just tied mine out of the way but next time I open the box I'll remove it.
