My bad I was looking at this and seeing 760 head not stock 701 head. yes I have cc.ed a stock head and no i am not saying which model comes with a smaller cc chamber because that's a trick in lites racing
I just throw the stock heads in the bin. The squish clearance is way to large when you use a stock head and gasket so i simply dont care to measure it.
Yeah I have about 5-6 of these running in 550s 760s, gp1200s and soon to be a 1100 kawasaki. Never an issue powerful spark and using oem ( mostly components ) you can buy easily and cheaply.
I think they are doing one for both. I have my triple almost ready to go together and I will be then having it sorted for the 1100 triple. The 750 is an easy one to work out. I have not done it yet but a few guys have. I will then ask Zeeltronic to make a plug and play system for the 750. As far...
Jut realised I never explained this
the stock ignitions use the flywheel to make the required running voltage. The 800 and the 760 ignitions use different voltages. I know the gp800 flywheel will not run a stock 760 ignition but because the zeeltronic runs on battery voltage that is not an issue
They look the same. you cant interchange them on a stock ignition. I have tried. The zeeltronic simply laughs at them and its not an issue. as speedy said. its only interested in the lump and the battery charging system. There is a more complicated answer i can give but im heading out for breakfast
