No its not an o-ring. I thought about it but people were having so many issues with the orings and leaking that I decided against it. But I have a trick for you on the front cover if you want to never have an issue with the gasket. Stick one side and put grease on the other side of the gasket...

Yes it did and when the b-pipe was a race pipe back in the mid 90s, every one was running the fx1 pipe in their superjet race skis. Mark Baxter was the one that gave me the hp figures re the different chambers
I use a pet inductive tacho, it works awesome but each to thrir own.
Zeeltronic does make a cdi that has power valve out puts as well as power jet controller. I was using them to turn on fuel pumps and bilge pumps in my belassi with my gp1200 enigne in it and it worked awesome

Yup because if you did that then you would be exposing part of the circuit to water. Why would you want to do that. Its easier to simply use an inductive tacho on it.
Most of the skis these go into are in a free-ride and freestyle situation, I cant think of anything worse than having a gray wire...
