I was using a zeel tronic with a relay to turn on the fuel pump in my bs3 belassi I put a gp1200 into. I was also turning on a bilge pump with it when the engine went over 1000 rpm.
The gains of a programable ignition curve far out weight the weight loss of a 760 flywheel.
Use a sp flywheel and any front cover of a 750/800 and happy days
Let me explain it better. The air pressure on the diaphragm is what controls your pop off and fuel flow. If the pressure is reduced all around the carb then the diaphragm will have less pressure pushing on it reducing fuel flow. if the carb was in open air and you then restricted the inlet to...
If you had a restrictive air-cleaner then yes, But the carbs are in the same environment so the pressure on the diaphragm is also reduced. This would lean it out, carbs are self compensating to a certain point. It will just flow less and make less power.
Im not sure it will effect the jetting so much as the carbs are vented to the same atmosphere as the carbs , under the hood. will it effect power, yes big time
Thats me doing it. i am in the middle of a house move and also getting a ski ready for the world finials. Its killing me, my workshop is in more of a mess then normal as well due to the move. I am getting there and I will have it wired up soon. I know every one is waiting
The are the same when it comes to the zeeltronic. You cant run a std 760 cdi of an 800 flywheel or vice versa but the zeeltronic is a dc/cdi so it does'nt care
why would it not be an option. you can run it on a gp800 engine as well, Its the same flywheel well in regard to zeel tronic it is. The gp800 front cover should go on and the static angle is the same. Paul Lehr has done it
Your onto it. but first of all use the stock 760 box you get a nice box that gives you more room in the ski
use the threaded pickup and mount it in the front cover
Using the three bolts to pull the flywheel plate off make a unit which bolts to that and give your pick up lumps...
