I would bet money that it is your start/stop switch. They oem connectors near the ebox suck, i have had times were you jiggle the connectors and it will start up. Check the connectors, if those are ok the start stop switch is bad, do a continuity check of the switch

do you have a mikuni pump? are you lubing the needle with wd40..need to compress the spring and spray some in to make sure the rubber tip is getting wet on the needle. Make sure that the pump line is not leaking where you hook up to the line nipple, I had to clamp mine...kept getting a little...

there are 2 water lines going through the bulk head; 1 for the stock bilge under the drive coupler and the other is the cooling line that goes to the exhaust manifold. You want to pinch/add a shut-off to the line that goes to the manifold.

couldn't you just put a shut-off valve in the cooling line between the bulk head and motor? that way water can't enter the motor. Wouldn't want to forget to throw it when you start riding though.

that scat prop is fine, use heat and remember reverse threads. use anti-seize on the threads when you put the new on. The scat prop requires a special hex tool that fits the inner diameter of the scat prop, like wise the solas props require a slightly different tool. also, you need a spline...

never hit bottom. motor is as far back as the bed plate will allow without enlarging the bed plate mount holes and there is about 8mm gap still. Not sure what caused this. I will have to look into the coupler and mid shaft adapters.

When checking my pop-off presure the needle seemed to leak rather than 'pop' out at 15-18psi consistently. When I pushed the down on the spring and arm it would release the rest of the pressure. I was expecting more of a pop from the needle, any thoughts? i did plug the pulse and lubed also...
