wow, the attention to detail is amazing on these!!! even has the locators for the midshaft housing. I see a FP1 in my future, in my opinion this is the best looking hull yet!. i also like that I canput whatever footholds i like in it
is that an exhaust leak or bad seal in the case halves? Did you do a leak down test before installing? did you check the ring gap in cylinder before you installed the rings to the pistons? what was your compression?
The steering nozzels are POM which is an Acetal or more specifically polyoxymethylene. There is a material abbrev. molded on it...POM on the last one i broke
i don't know all the part numbers, but make sure that is a big hub or small hub prop, whatever your need is. 08'+ are big hub and pre 08 are small hub. The part number should tell you what it is, id look it up first. I had a 13/17 swirl on a ported 701 and it ripped!

when i had a voltage regulator go out, it kept poping the fuse as soon as I put it in. However, couldn't the voltage regulator also fail and limit the amount of voltage through the systems which weaken the spark and cause the symptoms described?
hold off on your leak test for a couple of days if you want. I am starting to think that it is the oil. Similar to you, I ran superM in my ported 701 for years and years with no issue (and it hit hard!!), i noticed recently since i've been getting more into tuning that my piston head readings...

i had a similar problem. Have you done a leak test? I found that I had an air leak in the case behind the flywheel. Since this section is technically sealed by the flywheel cover, the motor ran fine and didn't experience runaway's from it. Could also be a leaky crank seal behind flywheel. I...
