I went out for about 10 minutes until my pump bearings seized up. Had a nice cold swim back to the launch.
Nice guys! It feels so good to ride again 
I needa get a thermometer to see how cold the water is.
Mthomps, I just finished glassing the rest of my holds Saturday, and went out riding out with no turf yesterday haha. This is maybe my 10th time ever out on a ski so I'm still pretty basic at my riding lol . First fall at 30 mph, and swimming 50 ft to my ski was pretty Freeken cold, but after that my wet suit kept me warm.
Then somehow a piece of the bottom of the front of my hood broke, and tore my new surf seal
I needa get a thermometer to see how cold the water is.

i was out last weekend the 27th... there was still a lot of ice on the lake but i suited up and went anyway... highs in the 60s-70s for the next week so, i'll probably be out for a ride every day this week...

I was just in elgin about two weeks ago when all that rain came threw and flooded the hell out of the highways. Im from St. louis but I go to Elgin and Buffalo Groove for Subaru/VW training all the time.

all this water n im not allowed to ride...Itll be another week or two till they open it back up

Yea our water is all up too. We can still launch on the merimac but its a never ending battle with stuff clogging up the pump so I'll wait on that. I ride at a private lake too. If this rain quits I plan on getting on it soon.

Our lake has me itching to ride. I've seen a few water skiers and a wakeboard or two but I'm still wrenching on the dang thing every weekend. Not going to be done till early June :-(

i may run up to private Wonder Lake by the IL/WI border...water patrol isnt out yet otherwise you have to live on the lake to out there
This time of year lake erie is about 45 give or take. But since it is so shallow it warms up quick once the air starts sticking to 70+ degrees. The waves kick up fast too:veryhappy:
