correct me if im wrong, but i think the 97' venture 760 came with a 155 pump, as did the 98' venture with a 701 came with a 155; both with the correct wear ring. I get that from the hot products catalog. It also says that both of those models came with an 11/14 prop and they recommend a 7/12...

how does the insurance company define competition use only? isn't everything 2-stroke considered competition use only in calif? so if your using it in calif, you must be competing... is what i'd expect them to say. I recorded my conversation with my agent to make sure that I covered my bases...

if a previous person took the title, how can you register it with just a bill of sale/registration without the old vin#'s. Seems you would need a new title/vin from another ski and register it that way. If you have the vin# on the ski still, but just got the lost title, you should be good to go.

i just bought a ski with a bruins turn plate and bars! Wonder how many of those he made? Its a nice setup. I have not removed it yet, but it looks like the turn plate works with straight mount bars, not sure on the diameter yet...looks like they will work with fat bars though.

got the bottom sanded good enough for now. Flip the ski over and started grinding and sanding the engine bay and rear for glass. While bolting in an engine, mid shaft housing, and pump to verify alignment. Problem that I see: this ski has an old 1990 square nose bulkhead which had the 650...

i saw a solas concord swirl 13/17 prop for sale for a 100 bucks a week or so ago...thats a great prop (just looked and it sold) I was running the same solas prop before switching to a 9/15 impros hooker and didn't notice much difference in hook up. Was running a ported 701 with mods.

also, the powerfactor pipes are more prone to water ingestion from the low manifold mount, where as the B-pipe manifold curls up and around making it harder for water to work its way back into the engine when the ski is tipped.
