if you want the one stop shop, hit JetManiac up; he should have everything you need there i think or can get it for your order. A lot of people use US composites to buy fiberglass supplies and expanding foam.
hell no. The first i heard of that was the links fromMadMat.
I don't want to turn this into a debate, but the movie didn't even get the circumstance of the long shot right...not even close (and there were two long shot sniper records set by Chris). Most everything about the combat/missons in...
i read most of it. I feel those articles are out to de-fame someone that actually deserves it by liberal mother fer's that prove time and time again they don't know their a$$ from the mouth.
I was referencing his service; I could care less about his bar fight stories...who cares if he made...
some men have honor.
if you read the book, sounds like your hometown "hero" is like 'runaway' from the book (which didn't make the movie).
I think there are enough witnesses to Chris's stories that it could be confirmed, not that it is needed.
I am not a book worm by any means, but I do appreciate our military and like to read about their stories. I am still on the fence about SEALs writing books, but no matter what they do they have my unwavering respect and gratitude. I have read the books and watched the movies to Lone Survivor...
my 01' sj shaft looks just like that. I can say with fair amount of confidence that mine came from the factory that way (im the second owner and I know the guy that bought it new and rode with him since it was new). I had a shop check mine to see how straight it was, if i remember right, it...
every kid in America should be required to read the book Broken. I didn't care for the movie, but the book is among the best I ever read. Everyone should have a role model like Louis Zamperini. I felt the movie didn't do the story justice.
the American Sniper book is very good as well, we...
701 singe carb, in not great shape, in the winter, busted nose piece, and doesn't run.... I wouldn't pay anymore than $1k! and thats if it has good even compression. Otherwise let him keep his problem.
i am unsure of the diameters off hand. Just measure the inner race diameter of the midshaft housing bearing (thats your OD for the PVC) and measure you driveshaft diameter (thats you ID of the PVC) Should be able to find something at a hardware store. I just found a piece of pvc that matched...
i like cold fusion stuff for sure (flywheel tool is da bomb), but a piece of pvc tube and intermediate housing w/o shaft will do the exact samething for free. Save money and buy gas and beer.
easy way to do this is press the intermediate shaft out of the housing and bolt the housing to the ski. Center the driveshaft in the bearing inner race.
to determine if midshaft needs shims, you need to see if the driveshaft is parallel to the bearing races top/bottom/sides
what kind of water do you ride in? lol
I think the temp rating is good to go. I remember reading that the cooling lines actually build fairly high pressures, just not sure how high. I am sure someone on here has investigated this before.
I had bought some waterline quick connect/disconnect fittings from Hot Products last year. I was looking through their new catalog and they are no longer listed.
So I found these on Mcmaster-Carr. Its says they are rated to 100psi and a max temp of 180F. Is that enough...
