Here are some front sponsons or tubbies that are specifically designed for the SuperJet round nose and square nose hulls up to 2007.

They contour the hull without the need for bending, and they are wider, longer and taller than the popular tubbie-II sponsons. 2.5" W x 50" L

They're sanded, foamed and ready to install for $180 per set.

I can also supply them untrimmed & unfoamed for $135 per set.

Also custom gel coat colors can be special ordered on request.

They only fit in one position contoured to the hull bottom and you can use 5200 or 3:1 epoxy to glue them in place.

I used about a pint of 3:1 epoxy mixed with a thickening agent such as cabosil and some white pigment to hide the seams.

Also no bending is required so you won't have to use many screws to keep them in place.

You can go to any hardware store and find some stainless #8 flat head tapered screws and Home Depot or Lower sells a nice drill bit with the counter sink attached.

If you need some instructions, I'll e-mail to you with some pictures.

good deal... i only asked about the screws b/c i know some people like that extra assurance that the sponsons won't pop off.

Any plan on doing a design that doesn't have the extra chime in it? a design more like a Tubbie I?

I wasn't planning on making anymore sponson molds specifically for the SuperJet since these work so well.

I will be making some different wider trays, footholds, ride plates and composite steering nozzles soon.

Very interesting......Do they still chine walk like tubbies on flat water?
I've never experienced any side to side oscillations with these sponsons and they seem to improve stability at any speed.

The concave shape into the bottom edge keeps them out of the water at higher speeds with less drag and allows you the corner more aggressively in the turns.

You may want to change the name of the post. The term "Tubbies" is a Blowsion Trade Marked name of their patented product. Don't want to confuse others that these are not the original Blowsion Made sponson.
