I can think of approx 6,440 members that could use this school ASAP! lol

Thanks to a few key people I have learned alot the last 3 years! 3 years ago I did NOT know the diff in a 61X to a 62T. I have pissed away MUCH more than 5000.00 going thru learning curves the hard way. I am currently 15700.00 in a 98 RN that I could have done from the start for approx 10000.00. Now lets all do the math together-I have spent 15700, and should have spent 10000 which leaves 5700 wasted! His premium school is 5000? I could have saved 700 and not driven some of my close friends over the deep end. lol

The numbers I presented are real. Scary huh?

It wouldn't work for me, but $2500 is quite a deal for what you get. There are only a couple ways to get good at it and this is probably the quickest way to significantly jump up the learning curve. You aren't going to leave there and be able to charge top dollar for your engines, but it's so much better than trying to start from scratch learning how to do it on your own.

Not to mention someone here could hold carb tuning classes for 1,000.00 per hour and alot of members would be saving money from switching carbs, buying carb internals, and chasing every other aspect of their ski trying to compensate for carb tuning skills.-YES people I am looking in a mirror as I type this.

1000.00 per hour on proper setup and wiring of t/l-how many people have bought more parts due to lack o ground, bad stop circuit in s/s switch?

I have said 1 million times 'if I only knew then what I know now' !!!

WOW!!! Thanks for the interest Boys!!! Well here are a few answers...

1. I have 25 plus years of this 2 stroke engine building and can teach you not only tricks but how to do a reliable engine.
2. Yes you get a cert with my program but it's from me and that should be good enough to get a entry level job as you cant replace experiance.
3. It's only a piece of paper anyway!! What you learn is what matters!!! You can't BS your way around this stuff.
4. Learn 2 and 4 stroke... 4 stroke is easy... 2 stroke makes you learn alot due to the physics, math etc... (thats in the race class)
5. I think the cost for 2 weeks is very fair... Have you checked MMI school??? I will do it faster so you learn faster...
6. There is a test at the end and you better pass it to get my cert.
7. I know my stuff!!! If I didn't after 25 years of this stuff.
8. Classes start soon so get it going if your interested.
9. I gaurantee the class or your money back!!! I know my crap!!! Oh and here's the best!!! I will teach you diaginosis!!! Thats the big one boys!!! Most can fix it but figure out whats wrong first?!?!??!

Be nice to each other please!!! I am 47 years young and have a hell of a self estieme SP? So you negitive guys dont bother me at all... Or should I say no one to date has a problem with me in person LOL!!!!! It's Zeus my dog that scares you...

I'm doing this also to teach what I know since my 3 girls arn't going to do this and I'm not waiting for them to get married!!!

WOW, and to think this thread is about Robert Sand, not some mechanic that you use.

Payment is as follows:

25% deposit, non-refundable but tranferable to another class, 50% first day of class and the balance at the beginning of week #2...

Yes, The four stroke can be done in 2-3 days!!! They are that easy!!!

Now the 2 stroke is the big one... Remember!! Even with no more 2 strokes being made there are so many and if your a 2 stroke guru you get the work!!! and I do!!!

I gaurantee you will not receive a better education on watercraft for this price!!!

I've thought of the video deal and have the production company ready BUT!!! there is so much illegal coping that I said no way!!! Plus isn't it better when something isn't making sense and then I can explain it right there!!!

Peace!!!

Yea in person for sure IMO. I thought of doing some build your own liquid cooled PC vids.......or tearing apart a few dozen different laptops on vid....

I even thought about doing a video of building a WDK Envy 701.....but not much to it really and how many want it.

Just never got around to them.

Great idea Robert!

Kind of on topic......
Just an idea. How come nobody has done any 'how to' vids for youtube? Like how to R&R carbs and rebuild them, how to R&R a bendix, how to trouble shoot no spark, installing a head, water line routing, etc. It would really help out the newbs.

There's a guy on youtube named richpin that shows a hundred vids for just about every concievable repair for a Saturn S series (somehow, without cussing!). He has saved me lots of $$$!
I don't have a digital video camera or I would have already done it. I'm out there working on it all the time anyway. :deadhorse:

i am looking for someone to quench my thirst for knowledge and horsepower. NOT A MECHANIC!

if you search my posts you will find i have the capacity for not getting a certificate but an aptitude for building great things as well as helping others.

what are some good resources to learn about theory of the 2 stroke and theory of 2 stroke racing engines books web sights ? my wife might actually allow me to pay for this class and I wanna come in knowing about a lot of stuff so its not my first time and i can focus on wrenching techniques any fool can wrench but a good mech knows the tricks

Robert is VERY Knowledgeable. He has helped me many times over and he's also built a rippin freestyle motor for me in the past. Anyone that wants to learn the tricks of the trade from one of the best in the sport better sign up!
