Looks like they may have changed the spark plugs that came in it... maybe not? I first time I have seen the "R" on the yamaha factory spec sheet.
But it looks great, but kinda korny that Yamaha did yellow like the new SXR.

I just remembered, the guy I go riding with puts the nose of the ski on the dock at the launch ramp at our local harbor. He gases it up onto the dock, drags it up the dock a little, then pulls his truck the correct spot on the dock to slide in the back of his pickup.
I saw a guy use a winch connected to back wall of the bed of the truck. He just hooked the ski up, used the remote on the wench and helped lift the back of the ski when the tail started to want to hit the concrete. I imagine you could figure out how to do it also with a non-electrical wench.
I purchased a FX-1 pole on accident when I was going to do a Superjet/SXR Handlepole conversion. Holding it up to a stock Round Nose fiberglass pole is a little shorter and the top bracket is shorter and a different shape. See in the picture that the mounting tabs for the chinpad are in...

Been looking into what I'm gonna do for the weekend. I think I'm just gonna drive up early sat morning. Stay all day sat, watch the comp, ride some, have dinner with every body. Then go a hotel room and drive home the next morning.
1) Pump size is 140 MM, expensive as hell you might be able to custom convert it to a Magnum 144mm
2) 650 for a starter would be good, or you could find a 750 engine or even a 650 to 800 conversion from PJS
3) Too much custom modification to be worth it. Just find a square nose superjet hull...
