Use swim ear rinse after rides to reduce infections.

Blew my eardrum this weekend (no helmet barrel rolls). Helmet helps protect from impact intrusion. Ear plugs are better, but they also (obviously) limit your hearing, reducing your awareness of other boats. Its a toss up...

Check the impeller, a square should pull most people dry start off the dock.

The mag is one of the last upgrades I would recommend, it is a good upgrade, but there are many things that should come before you go to a mag. I love what my setback mag has done for my ski, but it's got a ton of other mods.

It it's ok to ground your electrical box. You do have some underlying issue though...

Attach both sides of the switch to your tester leads. It should read open, or very high resistance.When the button it's pressed, it should go to zero or nearly zero resistance. It's been a while, it might be completely opposite of that, but the testing would be the same.

The stop switch should ground out. Try to test continuity when depressing the stop button.

Follow the Factory Pipe jetting specs for starters.

Get a Hooker 9/15 and a pump stuffer, it will wake it up. I was running a Hooker 10/16 and R&D stuffer, it made a major difference in my "snap". I had a Skat 9/17 in it before that, and the 10/16 pulled quite a bit harder. Edit: My ski is a SP 750 with case porting, freeride cylinder porting...

I like to go to Facebook to set up rides, etc, and there are plenty of good deals on parts from locals and people who don't want to ship parts - it usually makes it worth while to at least check them out.

Resin by itself gets very brittle too - add some gel coat. You can brush it on as well.
