Yeah, I yanked on that wire good and hard all over the place. Seamed fine but tomorrow I'll pull the flywheel cover and flywheel just to be sure.
Hate replacing electrical parts just because they seam dead. Always feel better when I know how to test the whole part and know what exactly failed.
Now that you got it all worked out,
anyone know where or who sells the pins ?
I have a few start/stop switches with corroded pins that I would love to repair.
Yep, there's a tab on the pin that you need to push down on. It's on the opposite side to where the wire goes in.
Once you mush it down pull the wire out with the pin.
1.What cases do you have ?
2.Stock ride plate rocks.
3.Once you have you have your motor figured out call Impros and ask about their Hooker props.
4.Get rid of that Riva pipe and look for a B-pipe.
A good intake grate would be on my list and a better than stock steering setup.
Brand new, as in never fired ?
Pull the head and I bet there will be some surface rust on one of the cylinders. That's the sound you heard after the one stroke revolution.
Also, pull the flywheel cover and look for rust there.
I would pull the motor down and check it all out good. Maybe...
