What metal ? The shavings have you worried ? That thing just had a little clearance issue between the piston and cylinder. It's not like you had chunks breaking off. Here's what my last piston looked like. Nothing major.

A new motor for that ???? Go on Greenhulk and pick up a cylinder and piston set. Slap it together and ride. or Bore and replate with a new piston.

I have a few of those cylinders with chunks missing. Just because it's plated doesn't mean that they don't coma apart once you snag the exhaust port.

IMO that's way too much. Get a b-pipe and mill your stock head.

That sounds like a b-pipe is a bad thing. If you can swing it that grab a b-pipe for sure. Those pro-tec pipes sell for about $200, are a cheaper way to go but not necessarily the better way.

My local West Marine has those fuse holders in stock.

Why would you rather run 6 AWG ?

Since the tray is opened up, why not add a one-way valve in that drain tube ? You could still leave the cap on but when you uncork it the valve will be there for you. P.S. I despise bilge pumps.

You can buy used 61X cases for $50, good luck scoring 62T cases for that.

Are you sure it's fuel related and not the salt demon attacking your electrical system ?? Quite common for fresh water riders on vacation in FL. Try some dielectric grease in your plug boots and your start/stop switch plugs. Unscrew the cap on your electric box and see if it's all dry in...

Nice motor in that pumpkin. You didn't run the water lines exactly like Chucky told you but it looks nice.
