If I were to venture a guess I would say its a bad stator, I know it seems like a fuel problem but the two are closely related and 750 stators are known to go bad causing the symptoms you just described, the best test is to replace it with a known good stator.

If it is indeed a 155 hp model there are no supercharger washers or supercharger, the 155 hp 4tec is pretty solid, kinda like a rock.
