Compression should be around 150 however you cannot get a good compression reading with a crappy gauge.729 are about as good as it gets with Rotax engine as long as you leave them stock.

I don't use the 2lb crap for anything anymore,I have had nothing but problems with it, biggest problem is that it shrank and pulled my hood all out of shape in the process. The 4lb is much denser and will absorb and retain less water, it costs more but how many times do you really want to do...
