Im looking at my westcoast manifold now, opening it up to approx 46mm on the manifold port, leaves plenty of meat for a seal. if you go to 48 it starts getting thin, may or may not seal, and 50mm theres no way

i think the problem may be that your shaft is hitting the cone. I know wetwolf put s disclaimer that their cones dont fit 91-95 x-2's becuase the pump was set back about a 1/4" and the back of teh shaft hits the cones. Check to make sure because ones that shaft is spinning it...
the screws are easy to find and i have all the tools, i just didnt know if goinw up from a 10-32 screw to a 1/4-28 was too much.

What size does everyone go up to when replacing the set screws. One of mine is toast and needs to be drilled.
I was thinking of going metric M5 but if using 1/4-28 or 1/4-20 can be done without making it too hard to tune or degrade performance it would save me some dough in taps and drill...
