Is is possible to replace the gear ring on a flywheel? IF you can, how do you do it?

Im looking at my westcoast manifold now, opening it up to approx 46mm on the manifold port, leaves plenty of meat for a seal. if you go to 48 it starts getting thin, may or may not seal, and 50mm theres no way How big are you going?

These are 2 i thought looked best. But if you just seach for hood latches it brings you to a page with a picture of all of them. 1864A17 1525A31

i know the 650 flywheel and stator will fit but is it ocmpatible with the 750 electronics?

why do you need one from an 800? why not the 650 or 750?

Is it possible to use a 650 flywheel and stator with 750 cdi and electronics box? This is for kawasaki of course.

pumps are the same, drive shafts are differnt length

Which would you go with? MSD TL (analog version) Advent with an OEM flywheel, magnets removed and flywheel lightened (should be within a pound of an Aluminum TL wheel) Advent with a Jetinetics charging wheel

why grind the ribs down? they had to have more strength then just adding flat layers?

is stock steering all that bad? i really didnt have any complaints when riding with it this summer. But i also didnt have an aftermarket steering to compare it to,

legdragger, i think the problem may be that your shaft is hitting the cone. I know wetwolf put s disclaimer that their cones dont fit 91-95 x-2's becuase the pump was set back about a 1/4" and the back of teh shaft hits the cones. Check to make sure because ones that shaft is spinning it...
