I was wondering if there is a difference in finger throttles and if any are 'better' than others and how much I should expect to pay for a used or new throttle?

I've got a '93 if that makes a difference.

I am also thinking about doing some mods to the steering, it's stock now and I'm not crazy about it. What steering should I use and is there any mods that I can do to it myself?

Thanks for the help

Im running a UMI and a Blowsion, I like the UMI better but am trying a X-metal now after hearing all the great reviews. As far as steering goes you can get a acusteer around 125 or a UMI for around 200 used. The stock setup sucks.

I think that I could live with the stock steering but EVERYONE is telling me to ditch it so I figure that the majority probably knows what they are talking about. But at those prices I'm gonna get a westcoast pipe first. However Im gonna ditch the TT this winter.

Dude, this one works great, but I prefer the thumb throttle. Great seller. You can mod the steering and get by, but the accusteer is awsome. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TRIG...mQQcategoryZ124115QQihZ006QQitemZ160062389777

why not buy from a fellow board member, instead of someone on e-bay?

I like the hot product best personally. They aren't a flashy as some but also don't have SHARP edges that will slice your jaw open like a scalpal. I don't let anything sharp live on my handlebars.

yeah I need a FT then I'd like to put a lanyard and bilge switch on there as well, but I'm kinda on a budget so it's one piece at a time. . .
