I know why you say not to do WOT runs but why would that be? some of these machines come stock with single carbs alot smaller then a 48. You can run all day wide open.
thats what i like to hear. i found some stuff that is made forremoving paint from fiberglass. Its made by Klean-Strip. Anyone ever use this stuff?

has anyone tried using paint remover on their skis rather then sanding? I cant stand sanding and theres no way ill get the ski down to the bare hull.
Theres a gotta be about 10lbs+ worth of old paint and every little bit helps.

Well its not that i am having problems with my box, just that i am in need of the modules. Once i get those or some sort of replacement then i can move onto having the standard problems associated with these things.

The plug in modules to set your timing curve are just different valued resistors. They take about 10 seconds to check.

80lb seems way overkill but i may be wrong. I think the stock bolts go on with 18-22 lbs Check with ADA for the right specs. You dont want to strip the threads in your engine.
with the mods you are allowed and the weight differnece i think you might be able to keep up.
Besides, if kawi allowed the 800 engine in the old boat it wouldnt provide much insentive for people to buy new machines. Also same powerplant in 100 pound lighter hull would make the old boat...
Can more material be safely removed if the charging magnets have been taken out? This is referring to running a TL setup with an Advent Ignition.
