as long as all the screws are out, just tank or pry that those suckers off... there might be a gasket in there that holding the FA's on there.

thats for sure... Bluegtate and I have pretty much the same exact setup, expect he has the flow valve, and he has V Force 2's, and his ski hits so much harder than mine. The throttle is smooth and crisp compared to mine. Both skis felt the same on the top end. He is running a skat swirl 12/17...

With Art rebuilding the throttle shaft (parts and labor), cost of two jets, N&S, tunning, possibly a gasket or two, and tank time was $245... that is what I think geoff told me yesterday.

Bluegtate's ski is the hardest hitting non-ported 701 I have ever ridden. I am very jealous.

i'd just buy a tool instead of borrowing one... I think i bought my kawi tool from one of the frequent sellers on ebay for $15 shipped. Or call IMPROS.

I just purchased a craftsman compression gauge. That thing is just as nice as a snap on for a fraction of the price. The whole kit with all the connections and case was only $60.

With a brand new OEM RN steering cable and x-metal turn plate I was able to have both quick steer on the nozzle, and furthest outer hole on the turn plate. My adjustments are to the extreme, and I had to cut about 1/4 of the steering cable on the steering plate side, but its on there. And oh...

don't know if this helps, but I just sold this single rule bilge bracket, and it had the stock bilge/strainer attatched to it. Don't know if it came that way or if the previous owner tap the hole for the screw.

but if the plug would fire one cylinder and not the other, could it be something with that cylinder??? but cut back the plug wires first. that is probably it.
