Bilge bracket question????

i bought a bilge bracket from hot products and it looks like it goes on the side of the midshaft over by the stock pump strainer. I want to run the stock strainer at the same time as the bilge and I am not sure whether or not I will be able to use this bracket. I read an old post that said the strainer would attach to the bracket but I am not sure it that is right because the bracket will put the single bilge right where the stock strainer is. Any body know? thanks

I ran it before I did dual cooling... you can do it... there should be a little screw on your bilge bracket that you can use to attach the stock bilge bracket to... it is a little tough to do all this since it is so frickin tight to work back in there, but you can do it...

don't know if this helps, but I just sold this single rule bilge bracket, and it had the stock bilge/strainer attatched to it. Don't know if it came that way or if the previous owner tap the hole for the screw.

those brackets should have a little tapped hole with a small screw that come with them... the one I ordered from Parker did, and I assume they are mostly all made by the same company...

ok....im stupid. yes mine does have that screw and now that I see a pic I realize it will work fine. i didnt know what that screw was for. thank guys
