This may be a stupid question, but what do you do when you bust that motor mount? Grind the bolt and drill it out? Or will the jbweld break before the mount? ...not that I plan on doing this!

Anyone know if welding steel to this stainless bolt/nut is fine? I don't have access to a stainless welder unless I take my hull to a welding/machine shop.

The bolt is in the insert in the hull. I like sjkny's suggestion as it seems the least destructive. I'll try working it back in and out again and hopefully not kill those threads or spin the insert :27:

Yeah I just ordered the lace-up evs's and a bunch of other stuff from motorcycle-superstore.com but they are on a month backorder for the 06's. You might want to shop around if you are in a hurry.
