    Slippery Wet Suits ?

I have loved all the Slippery boots I've worn but they never seem to last me a full season. I plan on trying some more affordable wrestling shoes next time around... But yes, Slippery's size chart is pretty much right on.

    Hood Gasket glue.

I used 3m weather stripping from Advance. It seems to work great but I didn't use enough so I went to the hobby shop and got a big tube of "superglue", aka Cyanoacrylate, aka CA. I ran the CA in some of the loose/void spots. I don't think I'll have a problem until it's time to remove it.

How to fix a blown out one way valve

Looks like he 5200ed it. Definitely original! This may not be the point of the thread, but couldn't you grind down the flange and attach a scupper valve?

    Stupid foothold turfing Question.

BK's got some good ideas ^^. I ran the 25mm padding and there was no way that would work in the footwells. I cut it into a goofy hourglass shape and stuck 8mm padding in my footwells and sanded a contour into the 25mm. I didn't really shape it to my foot - just left room to manuever my feet...

Best freestyle setup for a superjet

There's at least one excellent engine builder above ^^ :Banane01: . But yes, I agree with Paul. Just ride it (with footwells) and you'll know what you need when you need it. It doesn't hurt to attend some of the freerides in the x-h2o tour so you meet the other riders and see, hear, and...

    i got motivated today

So you didn't have any problem with the resin stealing pieces of your duct tape as you peeled it off? Do you resin both sides of the fabric except obviously where the tape is? Nice job, btw

wf, you puttin in a good word for me? :sneaky: Haha, I've thought about calling a couple places for ideas on something small. But I'm perfectly happy keeping a clean slate if the price isn't right. Leaves more room if anyone wants to "influence" me into some of their own accents :sly: Thanks...

Random pics - this one shows the contact cement where I first layed the bottom sheet of turf. That's 8mm padding in the feet area and 25mm throughout. Bigger and a couple more pics in my wavejunkies galleries - http://www.wavejunkies.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=11 &...

For all you pictophiles out there... I've been keeping this build going over on the wavejunkies site but I'm kind of at a stopping point now while I wait on parts so I figured I'd show it off to a new group... You might think I'm crazy for doing all this after forking out the dough on a new...
