    Reinforcing ?, ya I know......

    A gal of resin should definitely do it. I used fast hardener in the cooler Fall (60-70deg?). I also used silica filler. 80 grit all around the inner hull. I also ran 2" tape all under the rails and around the inner lip of my hood. Sounds like you are straight on the rest.

    Carb adjustment screws

    On my dual 38's off an 05sj, the adjustment screws are counter-sunk 3/4 inch or due to "tamper-proof" plugs that I removed. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make adjustments more accessible while the ski is in one piece? I think JSS offers extended needles with finger adjusters...

    I have an old vid that I think slut cut called "back flips web.wmv". Someone does a no handed backy with full body horizontal extension (laid back). Looks like something you only try once :scared: That's a pancake from hell waiting to happen!

    superjet pump?

    There might be two .25" "dowels" on the pump or nozzle that goes up into the hull. You'll have to wiggle the assembly up and down a little while pulling out or pry it down a bit.

    Yeah it's pretty neat :cool2: . If you are going to be surf riding, I'd recommend a good amount of reinforcement and get more power to overcome the added weight. I went a little overboard with three layers I think. But the peace of mind that my ski can survive pretty much any pancake not to...
